It is a mid-range laptop that is well suited for students, businesses or anyone with moderate-to-heavy computing needs. Design: My favorite model is the white one. It is almost an all-white laptop except for the black screen bezel. I love the water-flow design on is external casing. The pattern gives the whole laptop a very sophisticated look. This model measures at 13.15 x 9.45 x 1.35-1.57 inches. It weighs in at about 5 pounds. Overall, this laptop has an edgy and expensive feel to it.

The combination of a stylish design, great specs and a variety of features may prove to be irresistible to many. In our tests, this model performed flawlessly in running heavy applications and it also has a good multitasking performance (thanks to the ample RAM that can be upgraded to a maximum of 8GB). Currently, the HP Pavilion DV4-1540US is selling for just around 9 per unit.
